Little Angels

A friend of ours took some pictures of the kids. As I look at these, I can't believe how old E and L are getting. They grow up so fast! And they are so darn cute, if I do say so myself.

E is playing T-ball this summer. He is doing awesome and is learning all about "team work". We love to watch him play. He puts his heart and soul into it. He is very serious about the game....I think that comes from his Daddy.

The Joys of Being a Home Owner

We recently discovered we had a HUGE water leak after we received a large water bill in the mail. We were losing gallons of water by the minute. After digging and exploring where the leak could be without any success, we decided to trench and install a new water line. Thank goodness for two of our friends who helped us out immensely....one owns his own excavation business, and the other owns an under ground water supply company. How convenient is that?

Here, we are starting the trench to go under our foundation.

Dirt, dirt, and ..... more dirt!

This is about the time we accidentally hit the gas line that runs to our neighbors house. Oooops! Actually, it wasn't our fault. The utility company so brilliantly forgot to spray paint that line for some reason....go figure.
Soooooo....

....while the gas company fixed the broken pipe, and the kids and I evacuated, J started digging at the other end of the line.

J is clearing the dirt away from under our foundation to make room for the new pipe. Yes, that's L watching from above with her knee pads on (like Daddy and the other boys) and with her baby in my baby sling.

Thanks to the boys for fixing our water line....we are so happy to be done pretending to be Pioneers. Now we can take real showers!!
