Hear Ye, Hear Ye...Princess L is THREE

Princess L had a royal bash to celebrate turning three years old.
She had a great time.

First, we had a family party for her a few days before her birthday.

Then, she camped out with Daddy in the backyard the night before her birthday. She woke up to find TWIN babies with a stroller. Oh the joy! (although you can't tell from this picture, she was really excited)

And to top off the celebration, we went to the fair with Granny & Papa.

The First Day of School

Our little boy is growing up so fast! I can't believe Kindergarten is here. Where did the last 5 years go?
E was very excited to meet his teacher and new friends. I was a little nervous about dropping him off with a teacher I didn't know, in an atmosphere I wasn't familiar with. But, I am happy to report I didn't cry.....I did get a little teary as I walked out of the school, leaving E behind, but I quickly gained composure in the parking lot. I have to say that his school session today was the longest 2 1/2 hours I have ever had (excluding labor). I couldn't wait to go pick him up and hear all about his day. We went to McDonald's and talked about everything over an ice cream cone. E said his first day was "better than jumping out of an airplane". In case you are wondering, this is a really good thing. Papa used to be a Paratrooper and has told E how much fun it was to jump out of airplanes.

Campin' Lampin

J and E have established a tradition to participate in the Father-Son Campout with our church every year. They always have a great time. I love this picture of E with his daddy's socks pulled up to his knees. This is a great opportunity for Fathers to teach their sons great survival skills.....like never leave home without your iPod.

Go Rainier's

J was given tickets to the Rainiers game last week. We had a great time as a family....especially our little "Mr. T-ball-E". He loved hearing the crack of the bat as the players made some great hits. L just loved cheering and clapping every time the crowd cheered. I forgot how J lights up when he is able to watch sports LIVE. I loved watching my family enjoy themselves.
